What Keeps You from Meeting People?
If you are like most of us,
you’d like to get more of what you want in life and
less of what you do not want. You’d like to learn
how to tackle more effectively some of the many
problems life gives all of us—and that we give
ourselves.
One problem we largely give ourselves is not feeling
able to meet other people even though we could do
so—if we acted on our motivations. It’s a problem
that can lead to a same old, same old social life,
even to loneliness and love life down the tubes.
But, what the hell can we do about this crappy state
of affairs?
An answer is to learn and use a method called REBT
(Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy), which our
organizer, Emmett Velten, has published about and
practiced for 45 years as a psychotherapy and
self-help system.
In addition to the opportunity to learn valuable new
skills, our Rational Living monthly seminar and
discussion group puts you in contact with
like-minded people who want to improve their lives
through rational thinking.
If a practical approach appeals to you, then come on
down! You might get some ideas that work for you,
just as they work for us.
